Logo Engraving Methods Compared: Laser, Deboss, Hot-Stamp, UV

Your logo is the first thing your customer touches. The engraving method you choose affects cost, durability and perceived quality. Here is the breakdown.

Four Logo Methods, Compared

Method Best for Cost Durability
Laser engraving Metal Low Permanent
Deboss Leather Mid Permanent
Hot-stamp Leather Mid 5–10 years
UV print Colour logo Low 2–3 years

Which Should You Choose?

Metal wallets: laser engraving (free with MOQ 300). Leather: deboss or hot-stamp (looks premium). Colour logo: UV print (accept shorter lifespan).

Written on the floor

This article was written by our production and QC team — the people who spec tolerances, run the finishing line and inspect every batch. Where it states a capacity, a pull force or a lead time, it comes from a measurement we made, not a supplier’s catalogue. If a number here disagrees with what your own supplier told you, tell us; several of these articles started as a correction from a buyer.
