About Us

About TOP — Premium Wallet Manufacturer Since 2011

TOP is a premium wallet manufacturer based in South China’s manufacturing hub, specializing in OEM, ODM, and private label production for brands worldwide. Since our founding in 2011, we have partnered with 200+ global brands to design, engineer, and manufacture wallets, card holders, key organizers, and everyday carry (EDC) accessories that meet the highest standards of quality, innovation, and craftsmanship.

With a production capacity of 50,000 units per month and a vertically integrated supply chain, we are the wallet manufacturer that scaling brands trust for consistency, speed, and design precision.

Our Story

Every great manufacturer starts with a single product and a belief that quality matters. TOP began in 2011 as a small leather workshop in Guangdong, China — a region renowned for its deep manufacturing heritage, skilled artisans, and access to world-class materials. What started as a passion for crafting premium leather goods quickly evolved into something much larger.

By 2013, we made our first major leap: installing our first CNC precision machining line. This was not merely an equipment upgrade — it was a signal that we intended to compete not on price alone, but on engineering precision. The ability to machine aerospace-grade aluminum to tolerances within ±0.05mm opened entirely new product categories: metal wallets, slim card holders, and mechanical key organizers that simply could not be produced by traditional leather tooling alone.

The year 2015 marked our entry into RFID-blocking technology. As contactless payment adoption surged globally, we recognized that wallet design needed to evolve beyond aesthetics. We developed proprietary shielding layer implantation techniques that blocked 13.56MHz RFID signals without compromising the wallet’s form factor or material feel. This technical capability became a cornerstone of our product portfolio and attracted our first major North American clients.

By 2018, our R&D team had filed patents on rare-earth magnetic assembly systems for card holders — a breakthrough that allowed us to create magnetic wallets and MagSafe-compatible accessories with holding forces strong enough for daily use yet safe for credit card magnetic strips. This technology remains one of our most requested custom features today.

Our commitment to systematic quality management was formalized in 2020 when we achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification. This was not a checkbox exercise — it represented the institutionalization of the quality principles we had practiced since day one, now validated by an internationally recognized standard.

By 2023, we completed our most recent facility expansion, bringing our monthly production capacity to 50,000 units across all product lines. Today, we operate from a 18,000-square-meter facility with over 300 team members dedicated to design, engineering, production, quality assurance, and customer success.

Our mission is simple: to empower every brand — from emerging startups to established retail chains — with access to the same manufacturing capabilities and design expertise previously reserved for the largest players in the industry. When you partner with TOP, you are not just outsourcing production. You are gaining a product development partner invested in your brand’s success.

Core Technology Highlights

What distinguishes TOP from commodity-level manufacturers is our vertically integrated control over critical technology components:

Rare-Earth Magnetic Assembly (In-House Production): We manufacture our own magnetic subassemblies using N52-grade neodymium magnets — the strongest commercially available rare-earth magnets. This vertical integration ensures consistent pull-force specifications (tested at 1.2–2.5 kgf depending on product size), full traceability of magnet grade and plating, and the ability to customize magnetic arrays for unique product designs. Whether you need a magnetic card holder or a MagSafe-compatible wallet, our magnetic systems are engineered for real-world durability.

RFID Shielding Layer Implantation: Our proprietary process embeds conductive shielding materials — typically copper-nickel woven fabrics or aluminum composite layers — directly into the wallet’s internal structure during the cutting and lamination phase. This ensures 99.9%+ signal attenuation at 13.56MHz (the frequency used by credit cards, passports, and transit cards) without adding bulk or requiring a separate shielding pouch. Every RFID wallet we produce is batch-tested for shielding effectiveness.

Multi-Material Composite Engineering: Modern wallets demand more than a single material. We have developed proprietary bonding and fastening techniques that combine dissimilar materials — aluminum with full-grain leather, carbon fiber with ballistic nylon, titanium with wood inlays — into unified, durable products. Our engineering team uses finite element analysis (FEA) simulation to predict stress points and optimize joint design before a single prototype is machined.

Quality & Certifications

ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System

TOP has been certified to ISO 9001:2015 since 2020. Our quality management system covers every operational function: supplier evaluation, incoming material inspection, production process control, final product testing, corrective action management, and continuous improvement. Annual surveillance audits by a third-party accredited certification body ensure ongoing compliance.

Four-Stage Quality Inspection

Quality is not checked at the end of the line — it is built into every stage of production:

  • Stage 1 — Incoming Material Inspection: Every raw material lot is sampled and tested against specification sheets before release to production. Leather is checked for grain consistency and tensile strength; metals are verified for alloy composition and hardness; magnets are pull-force tested.
  • Stage 2 — In-Process Quality Control (IPQC): Production line inspectors monitor critical dimensions, surface finish quality, and assembly tolerances at defined process intervals. CNC-machined parts are checked with CMM (coordinate measuring machines) on a sampling basis.
  • Stage 3 — Pre-Assembly Verification: Subassemblies (magnetic arrays, RFID shielding sandwiches, pop-up mechanisms) are functionally tested before final assembly to isolate defects early.
  • Stage 4 — Final QA & AQL Sampling: Finished goods are inspected against a comprehensive checklist covering appearance, dimensions, functionality, packaging, and labeling. We use AQL 2.5 for major defects and AQL 1.0 for critical defects.

Material Traceability & Sustainability

Every production batch is assigned a unique lot number linking it to supplier certificates, material test reports, and production operator records. This traceability ensures that if an issue arises, we can identify affected units within hours, not weeks.

We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint:

  • FSC-Certified Packaging: We offer FSC-certified paper and cardboard packaging options for brands prioritizing sustainable retail presentation.
  • Recycled Materials: Select product lines are available with recycled aluminum (certified post-consumer content) and recycled nylon options.
  • Waste Reduction: Metal scrap from CNC machining is collected and sent to certified recycling facilities. Leather offcuts are repurposed for small accessories or donated to local craft cooperatives.
