How a programme runs

Six stages, each gated by sign-off

No stage starts before the previous one is approved, so dates and unit costs stay real from first brief to reorder.

01

Inquiry & brief

Product idea, drawing, reference sample or a target price. We confirm feasibility and flag cost drivers within one business day.

02

Feasibility & quote

Material options, tooling cost, MOQ and a production slot, quoted on the route you picked — no hidden line items.

03

Sampling

Physical sample in 7–15 days: materials, mechanism, branding and packaging all reviewed before anything is signed off.

04

Production

25–35 days to finished goods after sample sign-off, with the spec frozen at approval so the batch matches the sample.

05

Quality control

Four-stage QC with a 100% final inspection and AQL 2.5 sampling — retained samples kept for every batch shipped.

06

Shipping & reorder

EXW, FOB Shenzhen, CIF or DDP. Approved files stay on our line, so a reorder runs on the same spec and dates.

Wholesale is a logistics problem, not a design problem

At wholesale volume the product is already settled. What decides your margin is the tier you land on, how efficiently the order fills a container, and how quickly you can replenish without another development cycle. That is what this route is optimised for.

We supply distributors, importers and retail chains from the same catalogue that serves our private-label customers — the difference is quantity, packaging format and freight planning. 500 pieces per model, mixable by colour; production in 25–35 days.

Volume tiers and what changes at each

Prices are quoted per tier because three things improve with volume: machine set-up is amortised across more units, material cutting yield improves on larger lays, and QC can move from tight sampling to process control. Here is how the curve typically behaves.

TierWhat changesTypical unit saving
500 pcsEntry wholesale. Standard colourways only.Baseline
1,000 pcsCustom colourway unlocked on most designs.6–10%
5,000 pcsOwn packaging run, printed cartons, mixed container.14–20%
20,000 pcsDedicated production cell, scheduled monthly slots.22–30%
Container+Annual framework pricing, reserved capacity.Negotiated

The jump from 1,000 to 5,000 is usually bigger than from 500 to 1,000. If you are near a boundary, ask for both quotes — the answer sometimes justifies a slightly larger buy.

Container planning

Freight is the cost line most buyers under-model. A wallet is small and light, so most orders hit volume limits long before weight limits, which means packing efficiency matters more than grams.

20GPApproximately 18,000 card holders or 9,000 boxed bifolds, depending on packaging format
40GPApproximately 36,000 card holders or 18,000 boxed bifolds
40HQApproximately 44,000 card holders or 22,000 boxed bifolds
Lead time to port2–5 days inland to Shenzhen or Yantian, then transit per lane

Flat-packed cartons can improve those figures by 20–35% against pre-assembled retail boxes. If you are paying for a full container, that difference is worth a conversation before you commit to packaging.

Reorder and stocking programmes

Once a model is in your range, the value shifts to replenishment discipline. Three options, depending on how predictable your demand is:

  • Scheduled reorder. A standing monthly or quarterly quantity at a fixed tier price. We hold materials against it.
  • Reserved capacity. You book production slots in advance without fixing exact quantities. Useful when your demand is seasonal but your timing is not.
  • Consignment stock. Finished goods held at our facility and released against your call-offs, so you do not carry the inventory but still ship in days.

Reorders skip development entirely: tooling is on the rack, the spec is frozen, and inspection records from the previous run set the baseline. Typical reorder cycle is 20–25 days.

Wholesale questions

Can I mix models in one container?

Yes. Most first containers are mixed, with 2–4 models per shipment. Tier pricing applies per model unless the total crosses a single-tier threshold.

What is the smallest order you will ship by sea?

Below about 2,000 pieces, air or express is usually cheaper per landed unit than a part-container sea shipment worth of fixed charges.

Do you hold stock for repeat customers?

Yes, under a consignment arrangement. Finished goods stay at our facility and release against your call-offs.

Can you drop-ship to my customers?

For established wholesale accounts, yes — neutral packaging, your documents, no branding of ours anywhere.
