Pricing

MOQ, tooling and how pricing works

Unit price is never published — it moves with mechanism, capacity, material and quantity, so it is quoted per specification. What you can see up front is MOQ and tooling.

Decision guide

Ejector or side-slider: how to choose

  • Ejector (pop-up). Push-button fan-out; the classic pop-up feel. Best for brands selling the ‘wow’ moment.
  • Side-slider. Cards slide out laterally; fewer moving parts, lower failure rate, thinner body.
  • Metal cards. Many mechanisms do not grip metal cards reliably — we set clearance and spring tension per card thickness.
  • Capacity. Six or more cards needs a deeper plate stack; four cards stays slim.

Quality

How we test pop-up wallets before they ship

A pop-up wallet lives or dies on its mechanism, so the ejector is tested before assembly and again at final QC.

01

Mechanism cycle

Ejector actuated on a test rig to catch spring fatigue and button stick.

02

Card clearance

Slot clearance set per card thickness so cards eject without jamming.

03

Spring tension

Tension measured mid-batch, not just at final QC.

04

Final AQL

AQL 1.0–2.5 per order, full inspection available. See the QC process.

Pricing logic

What actually moves your quote

  • Mechanism. An ejector adds a spring, plates and assembly steps versus a static holder.
  • Quantity. 500 to 5,000 pieces typically drops unit cost 18–30%.
  • Finish. Type III anodising and two-tone add labour and rejection risk.
  • Capacity. Each extra card in the stack adds material and machining.
  • Packaging. A rigid box can cost more than the wallet at low volume.

FAQ

Pop Up Wallet Manufacturer sourcing, answered

What is your MOQ for pop-up wallets?
300 pieces per colour on existing designs; 500 for a custom body or mechanism.
Can your pop-up wallet hold metal cards?
We set slot clearance and spring tension per card thickness; tell us the card you test with and we machine to it.
Why do pop-up wallets jam?
Usually worn springs or wrong slot clearance. We cycle-test the ejector and set clearance per card thickness.
Can you make a leather-wrapped pop-up wallet?
Yes — an aluminium mechanism inside a leather shell, with edge finishing to match.
Do you offer RFID blocking?
Yes, an optional shielding liner behind the card stack.
How long from sample to production?
Samples in 7–15 days; production 25–35 days after approval.
