OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) gives you full control over design, materials, and specifications while we handle production. ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) lets you select from 200+ proven wallet structures, customise surface finishes and branding, and launch in as little as 6–8 weeks. In both models, your designs are protected by legally binding NDAs and dedicated tooling that is never shared with other clients. Each assembly line is run with inline QC checkpoints; station records, operator IDs, and passing inspection data are logged in the batch traveller and shared through your project dashboard.

OEM Workflow: From Concept to Container
Our OEM process is built around transparency, speed, and zero-surprise handoffs. Each stage has defined deliverables and gate criteria so you know exactly where your project stands.
NDA & File Exchange
We sign your NDA or provide ours within 24 hours. You upload CAD files, material specs, or reference samples via our secure project portal. All files are AES-256 encrypted at rest.
DFM Review (24h)
Our 60+ engineer team reviews your design for manufacturability. We flag undercuts, tolerance risks, and material conflicts, then propose 2–3 alternative solutions where needed. Average turnaround: 24 hours for standard metal wallet structures.
Material Sourcing
We procure raw stock from certified suppliers. All aluminium is 6061-T6 aviation grade with mill certificates; leather is full-grain with REACH compliance documentation. Lead time for exotic materials (e.g., carbon fibre, rare-earth magnet upgrades) is quoted separately.
Tooling Development (15–30 days)
CNC programmes, stamping dies, and fixture jigs are produced in-house on our 120+ CNC workstations. First-off samples from the tool are inspected against your drawing within 48 hours of tool completion.
Prototype (7–15 days)
We produce 3–5 fully functional prototypes using production-grade materials and finishes. You receive dimensional reports, surface-finish photos, and a functional video for remote approval. Prototyping terms, test standards and revision policy are on the prototyping page.
Pre-Production Sample
A single production-line sample is built at target cycle time to confirm throughput and yield. This sample becomes the sealed “golden sample” for mass-production QC reference.
Mass Production (25–40 days)
Production runs on our four-storey, 8,000 m² facility with capacity for 300,000+ pieces per month. Daily output reports and inline QC data are shared via your project dashboard.
QC & Shipping
Finished goods pass four-stage inspection (IQC, IPQC, FQC, OQC) at AQL 0.65. We generate carton labels, packing lists, and customs documents before handing off to your freight forwarder or our logistics partner.

ODM is designed for brands that need proven wallet structures with fast turnaround and low minimums.

Browse our library of pop-up, bifold, magnetic, and card-sleeve mechanisms. Each structure has been validated through 50,000+ actuation cycles and is backed by existing tooling.
Customise Material / Colour / Mechanism
Choose from 12 standard aluminium finishes (anodised or sandblasted), 8 leather colours, or custom Pantone-matched coatings. Mechanism tweaks — such as spring tension or card capacity — are evaluated in 48 hours.
Branding (logo, packaging)
Position your logo via laser engraving, silk-screen, or metal nameplate. Packaging ranges from individual poly bags to rigid magnetic gift boxes. All artwork is proofed within 24 hours.
Sample (3–5 days)
Because tooling already exists, sample turnaround is 3–5 days for standard configurations. Custom colour matching may extend this by 2 days.
Mass Production (20–30 days)
Existing moulds eliminate tooling delays. Production slots are reserved on confirmation of sample approval, with typical lead times of 20–30 days depending on order size and seasonal load.

Even within ODM, you are not limited to off-the-shelf configurations. Our engineering team can modify existing structures to match your performance targets:
200+ existing structure library
Pop-up, slide, magnetic, elastic, bifold, trifold, money-clip, and hybrid mechanisms. Each has documented dimensions, weight, card capacity, and actuation force.
Mechanism improvements
We can adjust ejection force (±20%), increase card capacity (standard 6–10 cards, expandable to 12–14 with structural reinforcements), or reduce overall thickness (down to 7.5 mm for slim profiles). All modifications are validated with 10,000-cycle wear testing before approval.
Material substitution guidance
If your target retail price requires cost reduction, we propose material alternatives with equivalent performance. For example, switching from full-grain leather to premium microfibre can reduce unit cost by 12–18% while maintaining tactile quality and durability.
IP Protection: Your Design Stays Yours
We treat client IP with the same rigour as our own 35+ patents. Our protection framework covers legal, physical, and procedural safeguards:
NDA signing process
We execute mutual NDAs before any file exchange. You may use your own legal template; our legal team reviews and countersigns within 24 hours. NDAs are governed by English law unless otherwise specified.
Mould ownership
All tooling costs are itemised in your quotation. Moulds paid for by you are your exclusive property. They are stored in our tooling warehouse, tagged with your project ID, and never used for any other client. If you switch suppliers, moulds are released to your freight forwarder within 5 business days.
Design file management
CAD files, 2D drawings, and spec sheets are stored on an encrypted server with role-based access. After project completion, files are archived to cold storage for 7 years (or your specified retention period) and then securely destroyed.
No-reuse policy
We do not repurpose your custom designs, logos, or packaging artwork for other clients. This is a contractual obligation, not a courtesy.
Branding Options
Surface branding and packaging are where your product becomes recognisably yours. We offer four primary methods:
Laser engraving
Permanent, high-precision marking at 0.05 mm resolution. No additional tooling cost. Ideal for logos, serial numbers, and QR codes. Works on aluminium, stainless steel, and wood.
Silk-screen printing
Multi-colour application on flat or gently curved surfaces. Supports up to 6 colours per pass. Set-up fee applies for custom screens; reorder screens are stored free for 24 months.
Metal nameplate
Etched or engraved stainless steel or brass plate, adhesive-backed or mechanically fixed. Adds a premium tactile element. MOQ 500 pcs.
Packaging & booklets
From kraft paper sleeves (eco-friendly, wholesale-friendly) to rigid magnetic-close gift boxes (retail-ready, unboxing experience) — see our Packaging & Logistics Integration page for full specifications. You do. Any tooling you pay for is your exclusive property. Moulds are stored in our secured tooling warehouse, tagged with your project ID, and never used for other clients. If you decide to move production elsewhere, we release the moulds to your nominated forwarder within 5 business days.
Yes. We review and countersign client NDAs within 24 hours. Our legal team is familiar with US, EU, and UK NDA frameworks. If you do not have a template, we can provide a mutual NDA that covers design files, business terms, and sample specifications.
ODM MOQ is 300 pieces per colour. You can mix multiple colours within a single SKU (e.g., 300 black + 300 silver) as long as each colour hits the 300-piece minimum. For multi-SKU launches, we can structure production slots to reduce overall cash tied up in inventory.
Yes. Our in-house packaging team can produce structural designs, dielines, and artwork layouts based on your brand guidelines. Turnaround for first draft is 3–5 days.
