Detail
About this product
Materials & Craft
The RFID Slim Wallet is our flagship pop-up card case. A hard-anodized aerospace aluminum shell houses a spring-loaded pop-up tray that fans cards out one-handed. The aluminum shell itself acts as the Faraday shield, so there is no liner to wear out—shielding comes from the material, not a glued-in film. The tray is laser-cut stainless steel, and the retention bands are replaceable.
- Shell: aerospace aluminum, hard-anodized
- Shield: Faraday shell (13.56 MHz) from the aluminum itself
- Tray: laser-cut stainless steel, spring-loaded pop-up
- Capacity: 6–12 cards; total loaded thickness under 8 mm
Customization
Three standard anodized finishes—silver, black and gunmetal grey—are stock. Custom anodize colors are available on dedicated runs, and a laser engraving gives a permanent mark through the anodize. A full-grain leather wrap can be bonded around the shell for a softer feel. We also offer a numbered-limit edition packaging for premium drops.
- Logo: laser engraving through anodize
- Anodize: silver, black, gunmetal grey; custom color on runs
- Wrap: bare aluminum or bonded full-grain leather
B2B Procurement
Pop-up mechanism samples take 7–10 days; production is 25–35 days. MOQ is 300 pcs on a stock anodize and 1,000 pcs for a custom anodize color or modified tray. The pop-up mechanism is pull-tested in line and shield integrity verified on AQL 2.5 samples.
Who It’s For
The RFID Slim Wallet is the flagship of our pop-up line and the recommended first SKU for OEM and private-label buyers. It demonstrates our in-house mechanism engineering — the aerospace aluminum shell, laser-cut stainless tray and replaceable retention bands are the components we control, tune and verify in our own factory. If your program needs one wallet that proves our capability, this is it.
Key Benefits
- Shielding that cannot wear out: the aluminum shell is the Faraday shield — no film liner to age, peel or fail; verified per batch to AQL 2.5.
- One-hand card access: the spring-loaded tray fans 6–12 cards out in a single press — the in-store demo moment that sells itself.
- Replaceable service parts: retention bands are a stock spare part — an after-sales story most metal-wallet vendors cannot tell.
- Custom anodize + laser mark: three stock finishes, custom colorways on dedicated runs, and laser engraving that cuts through the anodize for a permanent mark.
Best Use Cases
- Flagship EDC drops: the mechanism and finishes support limited-edition numbered runs and premium packaging.
- Private-label starters: 300 pcs MOQ on stock anodize makes it a low-risk first order with room to scale to custom colorways.
- Retail demo environments: the pop-up action converts in-store interest to sales in under ten seconds.
What This Product Does Not Do
- Capacity is 6–12 cards with a thin profile — it does not carry a full bill section, coins or passports; folded notes travel behind the tray at best.
- The stock tray geometry is fixed — a modified tray or custom ejection feel moves to the 1,000 pcs tooling tier.
- It is a metal item: no leather wrap is standard — the optional bonded leather wrap changes the hand feel but adds the wrap MOQ tier.
Compare With Alternatives
Within the pop-up family this flagship sits above the Aluminum Automatic (value volume) and the Slim Metal Pop-Up (thinness) on materials and serviceability — the stainless tray and replaceable bands justify the premium. Against the Magnetic Card Holder, choose pop-up for fast card access and magnetic for phone-side carry.
FAQ
Q: How is the pop-up mechanism tested in production?
A: Trays are pull-tested in line for ejection force and detent retention; shield integrity is verified on AQL 2.5 samples from every batch before shipment.
Q: What packaging options support premium drops?
A: Numbered limited-edition packaging and rigid gift boxes are both offered; the numbered edition is popular for branded capsule drops.
Q: Can the retention bands be reordered by end customers?
A: Yes — bands are a stock spare part we ship to your after-sales channel, reducing support load and returns.
Q: What is the timeline for a custom anodize color?
A: Sample stage 7–10 days with the mechanism intact; a custom anodize colorway requires the 1,000 pcs dedicated-run tier and adds roughly one week to production.

Fit
Who this is for
The RFID Slim Wallet is bought by customers who want protection without thickness, which makes it the front-pocket option in an RFID range. It suits commuter categories, transit-adjacent retail and brands whose reviews hinge on whether a wallet disappears in a trouser pocket.

Questions
RFID Slim Wallet — sourcing questions
How thin is the RFID Slim Wallet when loaded?
Under 10 mm with six cards. We publish the loaded measurement rather than the empty one, because that is the number a customer actually experiences.
Will the RFID Slim Wallet stretch out over time?
No. The shell sets the capacity, so it holds its thickness instead of growing the way a leather sleeve does once it has been overfilled.
Can the RFID Slim Wallet be supplied without shielding?
It can, though the saving is small enough that most brands keep the laminate and lead with the protection claim.
